I’m a huge fan of the Tomboy Style blog, so I was super excited (to say the least) when Lizzie contacted me a while ago asking permission to use my images in a feature she did on Nicki Bluhm… She later asked to publish one of these images of Nicki for the TOMBOY STYLE BOOK, a study on this iconic style and fashion over the ages… this is already one of my favorite books, and having my work in it just makes me dizzy

A little more about Tomboy Style: “A visual history that chronicles the past eighty years of women who blur the line between masculinity and femininity, Tomboy explores the evolution of the style and its icons. Vivid commentary illuminates the tomboy’s history and captures a diversity of women who are bound together by their inherent ability to seamlessly blend a rugged sensibility with classic, understated elegance…” Comes out on April 3rd, pre-order it it HERE.

Also, Nicki and her husband Tim will be giving us a private live performance at my upcoming Bay Area Workshop this April! Find out more about that HERE.

Watch the video below to learn more about Lizzie’s book and see my photo of Nicki IN PRINT!

The video from my talk at my London Artist Workshop last September is now available for purchase here. You can hear me chat about things like getting thrown out of a celebrity wedding, fasting, doing psychedelics, and other stupid stuff. You can also hear about my ideas on keeping inspired, connecting to random universal chaos, experimenting with your work, attracting the right clients that fit your style, staying in charge of your shoots, how to NOT want to please everyone, and indirect influence vs direct influence… amongst other subjects.  To find out about my Artist Workshops, you’ll find everything you need to know on my WORKSHOPS page. Also check out this awesome behind-the-scenes video from London & Italy.
